 Recording a Google Meet on a Computer

Here’s how you can record a Google Meet on your computer:

  1. Create a Google Meet session or join one already in progress. Visit the Google Meet website or use the Google Meet app on your computer to achieve this.
  2. Participate in the Meeting Make sure your microphone and camera are functioning the way you want them to once you are in the meeting.
  3. Click “Start Recording” On your Google Meet screen, look for the “More options” button (which resembles three dots or lines). Just click it.
  4. Choose “Record Meeting”: In the menu that appears, select “Record meeting.” Google Meet will let everyone in the meeting know that the session is being recorded.

In Google Meet you’ll find a list containing your previous meetings. Look for the meeting where you recorded your session. If its not immediately visible, on the page click on “Join with a code” or “Meeting link” options to access your meetings.

4. Open Recording Details;

Once you’ve found the recorded meeting click on it to view its details.
